I am a London based artist taking inspiration from the natural world and love to draw daily exploring motifs in nature and my surroundings.
The works I make are predominantly on paper exploring line and marking, I am interested in and like to play with composition and scale using a variety of materials and techniques; stencils, collage, rubbings and monoprints with my sketches and drawings to expand into a final piece.
I studied Fine Art at Newcastle-upon-Tyne University specialising in painting after a foundation course at Chelsea College of Art, London. My work can be viewed here and also on my instagram page (leonoratrafford)
